Our client is seeking a dynamic leader to drive and maximise revenue for their early phase biologics services through strategic sales execution and client engagement.

Your objectives:
As the Vice President of Business Development, you will be measured against the following objectives:
- Achieve and exceed early phase biologics sales targets in line with business strategy.
- Build and expand long-term client relationships with leading pharma and biotech companies.
- Drive development and implementation of sales strategies aligned with organisational goals.
What you will do:
As the Vice President of Business Development, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Serve as executive leader for sales with accountability for target delivery.
· Act as client interface for executive sales efforts and escalation management.
· Mentor and support team members to achieve individual goals.
· Build strong, long-term client relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
· Drive new sales with well-funded accounts, including top pharma companies.
· Collaborate cross-functionally with early phase Center and Finance to align service offerings with client needs.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and regulatory developments.
· Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to expand networks and drive sales.
What you will bring:
These are the skills and experience you will need to succeed as the Vice President of Business Development:
· 10+ years' experience in sales or business development within the pharmaceutical or CDMO industry.
· Proven track record of success in CDMO sales or related field, with strong focus on strategy and performance.
· Experience leading and mentoring team members.
· Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to travel up to 30–50% of the time.
· Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, or related field.
· Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.
