Job Description
As the Accommodation Inventory Distribution Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our inventory and rate distribution strategy across all channels. You'll ensure our accommodation listings are competitive and well-governed to drive bookings and margin performance. This role sits at the intersection of commercial, operational, and technical functions and requires a strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.
Responsibilities:
Competitiveness and Distribution Management
- Manage supplier credential processes to ensure contractual, legal, and operational readiness.
- Oversee and optimize rate distribution across B2B funnel, metasearch engines, and other relevant platforms.
- Collaborate with supply and revenue management teams to ensure rate parity and inventory availability across platforms.
Operational Excellence & Governance
- Design, implement, and maintain SOPs for handling all inventory-related inquiries across internal teams and external partners.
- Develop robust processes for supplier and inventory quality control, including audits and compliance checks.
- Monitor and maintain SLAs for inventory updates, error resolutions, and rate mapping.
Competitive and Supplier Intelligence
- Conduct ongoing competitive and supplier ecosystem mapping to identify market gaps, strategic opportunities, and emerging risks.
- Work closely with the Data and Product teams to benchmark inventory performance and recommend areas of optimization.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Data Science, Computer Science, STEM, Actuarial).
- 6-8 years experience in an OTA, travel tech, or e-commerce environment, with a focus on inventory, distribution, or supply operations.
- Strong understanding of rate management systems, distribution technologies, and OTA supply models.
- Operationally excellent, with a builder's mindset—able to create structure where none exists.
- Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical capabilities.
- Collaborative communicator with experience working cross-functionally with product, commercial, and tech teams.
- Familiarity with tools such as channel managers, PMS, Third Party Supplier APIs, and metasearch platforms is a strong plus
